Wythall Works
As I think I indicated earlier this year there is far less to report in relation to site developments than there was when we were doing things for the HLF project. At this time of year much of our effort goes in to dealing with the aftermath of one open day or preparing for the next. All is time consuming, and the work done by volunteers is much appreciated, but it is hardly riveting stuff for 'Omnibus'!
Otherwise, projects are on-going and have not reached a significant milestone. The only items to note are that Cliff Byrne has nearly finished repainting the railway footbridge, while a bench, originally with Black & White Coachways has been acquired and repainted, appropriately in black and white. This will probably be located in the Power Hall, as it is a historic artefact, not just a seat for visitors.

Tiger Cub Toil
A lot of work has recently been carried out on Soudley Valley Leyland Tiger Cub WDF569, mainly by Dave Parry on the brakes and suspension. In addition, Kevin Hill has sprayed the chassis with silver paint, whilst Bob Williamson has refurbished and painted the hubs etc., and Maurice Collignon has repainted its wheels.

Destinations
Thanks are extended to Keith Lewis for the donation of numerous 'modern' blinds, some of which are now in the BaMMOT collection, while the remainder will be disposed of to raise funds.
Also recently acquired and donated by myself to the Museum are a dozen or so blinds from Midlands independents such as Your Bus, Pete's Travel, etc., all of which are now defunct, but still part of our local bus history.
