D9 30th Anniversary Event
On November 22nd 2009 our Midland Red D9 joined fellow vehicles from the Black Country Museum, Roger Burdett's Collection and Ashley Wakelin's Wheels on route tours around Leicester to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Midland Red withdrawing its last D9s from regular service on December 31st 1979.

M1 50th Birthday
October 31st 2009 - To mark 50 years since the opening of the M1 and the start of the famous Midland Red Motorway Express service between Birmingham and London, our CM6T motorway coach joined Roger Burdett's newly restored C5 and a modern National Express Scania K340 EB6/Caetano Levante on a commerative trip from Digbeth to Victoria Coach Station and back, using the original A45/M45/M1 route first taken on November 2nd 1959 by two Midland Red CM5s
